Course Info & Policies

Course Info &

While many courses share common ground rules, each has its own unique policies. Take a few minutes to get familiar with ours and hit the green with confidence!
Pace of Play:  We aim for a 4 hour to 4 hour & 15 minute round for 18 holes. Maintaining good pace keeps the flow smooth for everyone and helps ensure a pleasant experience for all golfers.  Groups falling behind this pace may be asked to let groups play through or to skip a hole to maintain pace.
Sixsomes:   Sixsomes are prohibited.  Any groups larger than 5 will be split into multiple groups (please book multiple tee times if this applies to your party).  Groups that refuse to split up will be asked to leave the property.
Cart Etiquette/Rules:  Only two riders are allowed per cart.  Please keep both feet inside the confines of the golf cart at all times. Keep carts at least 20 yards away from all green surrounds.  Observe Cart Path Only restrictions on all Par 3’s and any other holes marked as such.
Golf Clubs:   Each player must have their own set of golf clubs (two or more people may not play from the same bag).  Rental clubs are available at the pro shop.
Extra Riders:   If an extra cart is required for your group (more than 2 carts per foursome) an additional cart fee will be required.
Children:   Due to safety concerns, NON-PLAYING children under the age of 9 are not allowed on course or to ride in golf carts.  Our driving range and practice facilities are open for use.
Dress Code:  We maintain a relaxed, yet respectful, dress code. Collared shirts, slacks, or shorts are acceptable. Denim is permitted, but avoid ripped jeans.  Tee Shirts are also permitted.  Remember, proper attire enhances the atmosphere for all players.
Etiquette:  Be mindful of other golfers by repairing ball marks, replacing divots, and keeping noise levels reasonable. Let faster groups play through to keep the pace moving. Remember, good sportsmanship goes a long way!
Alcohol Policy:  Outside alcohol and personal coolers are not permitted on the course. We offer a variety of beverages for purchase and coolers for rent at our snack bar.
Retrieving Golf Balls:  Please refrain from entering any residential property neighboring the golf course to retrieve errant shots.  Residences are private property & retrieving golf balls can be considered trespassing.
Tee Time Policy:   Your tee time is the time you are expected to be on the first tee box.  As such, we recommend that customers arrive at least 20 minutes prior to their scheduled tee time.  This allows you time to check-in/pay, make any necessary purchases in our pro shop or snack bar, and make your way to the first tee.  Please note that being late for your tee time can result in the loss of that tee time.
# of Players: Please reserve your tee time for the correct # of players.  If you are booking through our online tee sheet you can update the # of players or cancel the tee time directly through your My Account page.  We do our best to accommodate groups with player discrepancies, but please be aware that arriving with more players than your allotted tee time is booked for can result in delays or loss of your tee time (especially during peak periods).
Tee Time Booking: We recommend booking your tee time in advance, especially on weekends and peak hours (tee times are available up to 7 days in advance for non-members and 10 days in advance for members).
Driving Range:  Driving range balls are exclusively for use on Cherokee Valley Golf Club’s driving range.  Please refrain from taking balls and/or baskets on course or off property.  Please do not walk in front of the day’s teeing area to retrieve golf balls or tees.
